ADTB Governance Structure
The ADTB governance structure consists of a Steering Committee, Sample Access Committee and Working Group.
The Steering Committee is comprised of a panel of experts selected from various disciplines to review the running and viability of the ADTB, provide strategic direction and assist the ADTB in achieving its aims.
The Sample Access Committee (SAC) comprises of an Austin Health Liver Transplant Unit (LTU) Surgeon, the DonateLife Victoria (DLV) Medical Director and the ADTB Lead Investigator. It will review all researcher applications for feasibility and appropriate ethical approval.
The Working Group comprises of an Austin Health Liver Transplant Unit (LTU) Surgeon, the DLV Medical Director and the ADTB Lead Investigator. It provides oversight and support of ADTB functions both within the members’ own organisations and beyond.
